Turn artwork into registered stencil layers, catch loose islands and fragile details, add bridges, then export SVG, DXF and tiled print files—all without uploading your image.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does StencilForge upload my artwork?

No. Color separation, preview rendering and file generation happen in your browser. Your source artwork is not sent to our servers.

What files are included in the production pack?

You receive a grouped color SVG, separate SVG and DXF files for every layer, a true-size PDF, tiled A4 and US Letter PDFs, project metadata and a material-specific cut-readiness report.

Will the SVG files work with Cricut and laser cutters?

The exports use standard SVG paths and physical millimeter dimensions. Most cutting software can import them directly, though you should always run a small material test first.

Is the export payment a subscription?

No. It is a single payment that unlocks the production files for the current stencil project. There is no account or recurring charge.

Do reusable stencil sheets need bridges?

Usually. Adhesive masks can preserve enclosed pieces with transfer tape, while reusable loose sheets need bridges to keep islands attached. StencilForge detects those islands and can add adjustable bridges to the live preview and export.

How does the production audit help?

It checks every layer for enclosed islands, estimates the narrowest feature and total cut-line length, counts vector contours and compares the result with the selected material preset. It is a preflight—not a replacement for a material test cut.

Can I print a stencil larger than one sheet of paper?

Yes. The production pack includes tiled A4 and US Letter PDFs with overlap and alignment guides. Print at 100% or Actual Size, then assemble the numbered tiles.
